Poppies

Sunday, July 20, 10am - 1pm

Students will create their own version of Poppies, with Cathy Frick.

Cathy Frick works as a graphic designer during the day, and in her spare time she works in 3 dimensions on her own, wildly creative, art!

Using a media she calls "the Fluff", for which she holds a patent, she creates mesmerizing 3D scenes.  Sweeping vistas and closeups of flowers and interesting perspectives on our beloved Aspen.

She creates on ceramic tile, wood, home decor items, etc.  She is always experimenting with new ways to add increasingly unique details to her work.

A resident of Arvada, CO, Cathy was one of the first artists exhibiting at the Eagle Nest Mercantile, and we are welcoming her for her third year teaching her unique style of painting.

Student's will create their own version of Poppies on a ceramic tile.

Class is limited to 10 students, the fee is non-refundable but it is transferable to another person in the event that you cannot attend at the last minute.

Cathy will provide all instruction, acrylic paint and the "Fluff"   You will take your artwork home with you at the end of the class.
